Entirely handmade by me, this table is a hollow cylinder built using the coiling technique. Once I finish the form, I begin carving its "Mar" texture, one mark at a time.
It becomes almost a meditative process. By the time I finish, I've usually forgotten how I started—and my wrist hurts a little bit (or, okay, more than a little bit). But I think it's totally worth it.
