I'm passionate about all of my textures I work with, and I've been exploring ways to blend them in a single piece. For this vase, I used the coiling technique to get the shape of it to then smoothed it out. Once the vase is smooth I then start doing my mar texture which is done by carving one by one to create a detailed surface. Then I craft each "coral" individually to get different sizes and shapes so when I attach them to the vase I can create an organic and dynamic look.
